Entry requirements

To apply for this course, applicants will require the following:
  • A minimum of Level 2 qualification (or equivalent), such as GCSEs or a recognised vocational qualification.
  • Applicants with relevant work experience in health or social care may also be considered, subject to the institution's admission policy.
  • A genuine interest in working within the health and social care sector and supporting individuals with diverse needs.
Applicant must meet the English Language requirements by taking or providing one of the following assessment tests.
  • IELTS 5.5 (with no component below 5.0) or an equivalent English language qualification, where applicable.
  • Alternatively, applicants who have previously studied in English may provide evidence that their Medium of Instruction (MOI) was English, subject to approval.
  • An internal English language assessment may be available for applicants who are unable to provide formal English language test results.
